Description of the special session:
- Distributed Ledger and Artificial Intelligence, Two Disruptive Technology has grown up exponentially in last decade. Central objective of this session is to Expose the potential of these two technologies together. What happens when we start to merge artificial intelligence and the blockchain into a single, powerful prototype? We have blockchain technology with promise of near-frictionless value exchange and artificial intelligence with ability to accelerate the analysis of massive amounts of data. The joining of the two could mark the beginning of an entirely new paradigm. It provides the foremost convention for Students, researchers, Academician and Entrepreneur to present and discuss the most recent Research, innovations and challenges Associated to Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence Together Applied to any Data Rich Industry like Medical Technology, Education Technology, FinTech or any other industry. The Agenda would be:

  • Blockchain Technology an Overview
  • Distributed Digital Ledger
  • Storage, Token and Smart Contract
  • Alliances and Industry Adoption
  • Identity Management
  • Criticism and Challenges
  • Decentralised Artificial Intelligence
  • Disruptive Model of Tech-Startup
  • Application to EdTech Startup
  • Application to MedTech Startup

Description of the special session:
-The High-Performance Computing Issue intends to act as a forum for research groups and engineers to address and share new ideas, achievements, and promising future directions in Cloud Computing, Grid Computing, Fog Computing and Internet of Things (IoT). This computing environment aims to galvanize the urgent needs of both industry and Academia towards fostering “IoT-revolution”. These domains include agriculture, space, healthcare, manufacturing, construction, water, and mining, which are presently transitioning their legacy infrastructure to support IoT. The aim of the session is to identify R & D framework and current open challenges in the computing industries. The session offers a common discussion ground for the theoretical and practical aspects of modern optimization techniques on computing like evolutionary Algorithms, Swarm Intelligence based, Rough Set Theory and fuzzy based optimization etc. The session also highlights simulations, performance and measures successful applications of optimization in various areas of computing such as:

  • Internet of Things (IoT)
  • Cloud Computing
  • Fog Computing
  • Security Issues
  • Big Data Analytics
  • MANETs

Special Session #4              TOP

Title of the special session:
- Recent Advances in Meta-heuristics and their Applications
Names of proposers:
- Dr Hira Zaheer; Bilal Mirza and Kamanasish Bhattacharjee
Affiliations:
- Department of Mathematics and Humanities, Maharshi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be) University, Mullana, Ambala and Department of Applied Science and Engineering, IIT Roorkee
Email addresses:
-hira.zaheer@mmumullana.org;bilal25iitr@gmail.com; kbhattacharjee@as.iitr.ac.in
Description of the special session:
- The aim of this special session is to bring together researchers, scientists, engineers and academicians on same platform to exchange information and ideas on aspects of Meta-heuristics and their application to solve real world problems. In the past few years, researchers have given much attention to Meta-heuristics which not only give a reasonably good solution but are also computationally fast. The research in this direction is based on the idea of developing an efficient algorithmic framework which can be applied to different optimization problems with relatively few modifications to make them adapted to a specific problem. This special session is organized to explore and examine all the empirical and theoretical advancement in Meta-heuristics for dealing various real world problems encountered in science, engineering, financial, industrial and other domains.Authors are invited to submit their original unpublished work related but not limited to the following topics:

  • Neighbourhood based Algorithms (Simulated Annealing, Tabu Search etc)
  • Swarm intelligence (Particle swarm Optimization, Ant colony optimization, Artificial bee colony algorithm)
  • Evolutionary Computation (Evolutionary programming, Genetic algorithm, Genetic programming, Differential evolution)
  • Nature Inspired Algorithms
  • Neural Networks, Hybrid Methods
  • Multi-objective Optimization
  • Parallel Metaheuristics
  • Applications of metaheuristics in engineering, industry, financial domains etc.

Description of the special session:
-Snowball of big data is rushing down a mountain gaining speed and volume, companies are trying to keep up with it. And down they go, completely forgetting to put on masks, helmets, gloves and sometimes even skis. Without these, it’s terribly easy to never make it down in one piece. And putting on all the precaution measures at a high speed can be too late or too difficult. Prioritizing big data security low and putting it off till later stages of big data adoption projects isn’t always a smart move. People don’t say “Security’s first” for no reason. At the same time, we admit that ensuring big data security comes with its concerns and challenges, which is why it is more than helpful to get acquainted with them. Problems with security pose serious threats to any system, which is why it’s crucial to know your gaps. Here, our big data consulting experts cover the most vicious security challenges that big data has in stock:

  • Vulnerability to fake data generation
  • Potential presence of untrusted mappers
  • Troubles of cryptographic protection
  • Possibility of sensitive information mining
  • Struggles of granular access control
  • Data provenance difficulties
  • High speed of NoSQL databases’ evolution and lack of security focus
  • Absent security audits
